    Our mission at PCD Smiles is to bring smiles to hospitalized primary ciliary dyskinesia, no mater their age; through the gift of a cheer package. Currently serving only The United States and Canada.

With 30 grams of protein per serving our “Broccoli & Steak Protein Bowl” is the perfect way to end your day. Here is one of our new recipes for our next cookbook coming soon.

Broccoli & Steak Protein Bowl

2 servings

10 minute prep; 9 minute cook

Ingredients required:

  • 2 tbsp. sushi ginger, chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped, green & white parts separated
  • 5.6 oz. (160g) broccoli florets
  • 8.8 oz. (250g) cooked brown rice
  • 1 tbsp. nori, chopped
  • 7.9 oz. (225g) lean filet steak

Instructions:

  1. Stir the ginger, green part of the onions and broccoli into the rice and microwave for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the filet steak to a hot skillet and sear for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and set aside to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Add the green onion whites to the pan to char slightly.
  4. Mix rice with nori and divide the mixture into 2 bowls, top with the sliced steak and charred onions.
  5. Seal the bowls until ready to eat.

Nutritional information: per serving - 367 calories, 11 fat, 37 carbohydrates, 30 protein, 3 Fiber
