We're collecting Cheer Package Donations of anything that keeps a person in the hospital busy, especially if they are confined to a room. Our original idea was craft/ hobby / busy stuff to keep the mind occupied. We have also received other special donations like Bluetooth speakers, reusable cold cups, water bottles, knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, adult coloring books, cards, Chapstick, and comfort items. When sending personal care products, we will only send out unscented items to make sure the recipient can make use of it.

Things we won't send; religious items (since our patient base has various faiths, we've decided to keep it nondenominational), candy, sweets, food, play dough or like items (that could trap and transport infections), money (donated money is used to purchase items for the packages as well as pay for the cost of shipping and expenses related to shipping and packaging materials), and we will continue to evaluate and add items to this list as needed.

Basic packages might contain any combination of donated items, here is a list of items a box might contain...

•             markers

•             some sort of puzzle book
